The WSA sets forth the terms by which the twenty-six Wholesale Customers will purchase
water from the San Francisco Regional Water System (System).
The WSA builds upon the 1984 "Settlement Agreement and Master Water Sales Contract between the
City and County of San Francisco and Certain Suburban Purchasers in San Mateo County, Santa Clara
County and Alameda County" (1984 Agreement).
In the course of implementing the WSA, it became clear to BAWSCA and the San Francisco Public Utilities
Commission (SFPUC), that a number of amendments were needed to address substantive, important, and
discrete issues. These amendments do not diverge from the existing policies and spirit of the WSA and do
not change the basic contract structure.
City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefield Road, Redwood City, CA. 94063 Tel: 650-780-7000 www.redwoodcity.ore
332
