6.G. - Page 33 of 238 <br />3.08. Water Quality <br />A. San Francisco shall deliver treated water to Wholesale Customers (except <br />Coastside County Water District, which receives untreated water from Crystal Springs and <br />Pilarcitos Reservoirs) that complies with primary maximum contaminant level and treatment <br />technique standards at the regulatory entry points designated in the San Francisco Regional <br />Water System Domestic Water Supply Permit (currently Permit No. 02-04-04P3810001) issued <br />by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH). <br />B. San Francisco will provide notice to the Wholesale Customers in accordance with <br />the Water Quality Notification and Communications Plan (current version dated January 2006), <br />attached hereto as Attachment G. San Francisco will regularly update its plan in consultation <br />with the Wholesale Customers and the CDPH. The next update will be completed one year <br />after the Effective Date and include expanded coverage of secondary maximum contaminant <br />level exceedances and water quality communication triggers. The plan will note that the <br />Wholesale Customers will receive the same notification no later than the San Francisco water <br />system (currently Permit No. 02-04-01 P3810011) except for distribution -related issues. <br />C. San Francisco and the Wholesale Customers will establish a Water Quality <br />Committee. The Water Quality Committee will meet at least quarterly to collaboratively address <br />water quality issues, such as Water Quality Notification and Communications Plan updates, <br />regulatory issues, and water quality planning studies/ applied research. San Francisco and <br />each Wholesale Customer will designate a representative to serve on the committee. There will <br />be a Chair and Vice Chair position for the Water Quality Committee. The Chair and Vice Chair <br />positions will be held by San Francisco and the Wholesale Customers and rotate between them <br />on an annual basis. <br />3.09. Completion of WSIP <br />San Francisco will complete construction of the physical facilities in the WSIP by <br />December 30, 2021. The SFPUC agrees to provide for full public review and comment by local <br />and state interests of any proposed changes that delay previously adopted project completion <br />dates or that delete projects. The SFPUC shall meet and consult with BAWSCA before <br />proposing to the Commission any changes in the scope of WSIP projects which reduce their <br />capacity or ability to achieve adopted Level of Service Goals and Objectives.
