CLK-Pamela Aguilar <br />rom: Janet Larson <br />.lent: Monday, February 11, 2019 3:50 PM <br />To: GRP -City Council <br />Subject: Harbor View project <br />Dear Redwood City council, <br />As a neighbor, I have always admired the Redwood City council for your forward looking views and your General Plan fo <br />the city. <br />I use the same freeways and roads as you, I support and work in your schools and shop and eat in your downtown, <br />'The Harbor View project is currently zoned for light industrial and port related uses because of its location. Office and <br />housing construction can occur elsewhere in the city without the need to amend the General Plan. We need to preserve <br />and enhance Port operations, which is critical to the regional economy. <br />Because our traffic is already at capacity, the impacts to the communities from this project would be significant and <br />unavoidable. <br />I would encourage the Council to oppose the amendment to change the lands and zoning for the site. <br />Thank you. <br />Janet Larson, Atherton resident <br />Janet Larson <br />
