fees and required mitigations. They are giving the City and it's residents nothing but a huge
development which will further clog 101 and the 84 interchange with 6000 employees and adding to
traffic congestion. This development is commercial office.
Neutral:
3. Traffic is already bad there. We need more affordable housing, not more corporate offices.
3. Support services like child care need to be developed there to support more office space, so
employees aren't adding to traffic.
3 suppose the project along as the plan considers traffic flow in and around the area.
3 need to know a lot more to support
3 traffic is already a mess. Adding more commuters isn't going to help.
3. There has been so much growth in Redwood City lately without there seeming to be any plan for the
additional traffic. I am concerned about the effect that this will have on 101 as well as 84. I'm also
concerned about the additional burden on the downtown area, where many people are likely to go to
lunch.
If the Harbor View project is passed, the Woodside exits and entrances off of and onto 101 should be
examined and modernized.
3. Redoing the woodside road exit south and that interchange is the vital part of this project to me.
Southbound (particularly going West) it is the worst exit on all of 101. 1 need more detail, not just a dollar
figure contribution, regarding how that interchange will be fixed to support this.
3- only if they are not building over the Bay, or over land that could become healthy wetlands. However, I
believe a community should have enough offices and housing to avoid commuting, and Redwood City is
still in need of both.
© 2017 Voca Advocacy Inc.
