Fiscal Impact
At the time of this staff report (prior to Workshop #2), estimates of the design concepts
are approximately $6 million. During Workshop #2, participants were asked to review
and prioritize the potential improvement options by street segments. Staff and
consultant will present these options to Council on June 5 (Workshop #3). Should the
City submit and receive an MTC capital grant, a minimum match of 11.5 percent of the
total project cost will need to be programmed from the City's Capital Improvement
Program and/or the Redevelopment Agency.

Alternatives
Do not evaluate and support the proposed improvements to EI Camino Real, which will
result in the City not applying for MTC's capital grant during this funding cycle.

¡2£~~oú~ l-~ ~- ?
