In addition, the City engaged the community throughout the study as follows: <br />Community Outreach <br />- Pop-up events <br />o Pop-up events on existing conditions and design preferences (Fair Oaks Community <br />Center, Target, and BevMo) in March and April, 2018 <br />o Demonstration protected bike lane on EI Camino Real (between Chestnut and Cedar) to <br />show how it might look and feel on October 20th <br />- Online surveys <br />o Existing conditions and design preferences survey with over 100 comments received (3 - <br />week period in April/May, 2018) <br />0 online interactive webmap with over X comments received (4 -week period in <br />October/November, 2018) <br />- Roundtable discussion <br />o Held an informal meeting with representatives from the 7 adjacent neighborhood <br />associations to solicit feedback, concerns, and recommendations for the study segment <br />Meetings <br />- Complete Streets Advisory Committee (on draft conceptual designs) <br />- Technical Advisory Committee (4 meetings at various stages) <br />- Caltrans (on draft conceptual designs, process, and next steps) <br />Data and Materials <br />- Existing conditions memo and graphics for the study segment <br />- Photo simulations of conceptual design <br />ALTERNATIVES <br />1.
