8.113. - Page 43 of 122 <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND GOALS 151 Page 269 <br />Coordinate and review the City's Wireless Communications Ordinance <br />In December 2018, City Council adopted an ordinance governing wireless <br />(CD) <br />facilities in public rights-of-way. Staff plans to prepare zoning code <br />amendments that regulate wireless facilities on private property next year. <br />Expand Recycled Water distribution mains to serve Downtown <br />This effort is on hold for this Fiscal Year because of additional funding <br />customers and the Stanford -in -Redwood City campus (PWS) <br />needed for the California Water Tank construction. <br />Update the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition program for water <br />Staff is studying this issue including the method of communication, i.e., <br />and sewer utility operations (PWS) <br />cell, radio, or wire. A new Federal law may affect the project timeline. <br />Continue programs to comply with the Municipal Regional Storm Water <br />Staff is performing 100% of Storm Water Inspections for businesses as <br />Permit (PWS) <br />required by this permit. The County of San Mateo previously completed <br />these inspections. <br />Continue development of the annual and five-year Capital Improvement <br />Staff is continuing to develop annual and five-year Capital Improvement <br />Programs (CIP) (PWS) <br />programs. CIP leadership will transition to a CIP Manager in spring 2019. <br />Continue groundwater remediation efforts at the Sequoia Station <br />Staff completed a pilot for the treatment of the groundwater and is waiting <br />Shopping Center (PWS) <br />for the approval from the Water Board to select a specific treatment <br />method. <br />Enhance the City's organizational culture through leadership <br />Multiple leadership development programs were offered and cross - <br />development activities and cross -departmental teams (CMO) <br />departmental teams were established for communications and community <br />engagement, grants, homelessness and housing, information technology <br />and neighborhood parking. <br />Establish quarterly management forum meetings and other ways to <br />Management forums are hosted three times a year by each department <br />support professional development and leadership in the workplace <br />and on different topics to support professional development and <br />(CMO) <br />leadership in the workplace. <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND GOALS 151 Page 269 <br />
