R 1: walking and biking are fine, but almost all the plans so severely affect auto traffic so much
that it will likely create road -rage type issues. ALL intersections on el Camino MUST have active
traffic lic hts - even if the kind where a pedestrian at crossing can activate.
+a 1 unfortunately anytime improvements for pedestrians occur it always comes at the expense of
motorists and the ability to commute quickly
1 C,:7 N support any changes or modifications that wculd improve bicycle safety by
decre=s. -,a t:.a c' .-oi.,hout of car traffic. PWC needs to time t -a lights on
+2 1 ! Where i< Harry's Hofbrau in this?
+z 1. The goal should be less building that would eliminate all the traffic! Improving bike lanes is
not a priority!
+z why not use a less congested byway for bikes and peds? isn't it ok to say, "bikes not
recommended" for some roadways?
+2 1. There are other repairs that need more attention, i.e. repainting lanes on Farm Hill and
Jefferson so we can actually see them! They're barely visiole.
+2 2 how long will the improvements take? How will they be paid for? Has this type of
improverrert bsen done elsewhere, and if so did is reduce injuries?
+1 2. 1 would rather have the emphasis on making traffic run more smoothly and not the emphasis
on bike=_.
+1 1 The left turn removals will make it ridiculously difficult for me to get to my home from el
carr.irio.
+t 1, money best spent on other things. Construction projects are public funds black holes.
+1 s nard snough .-o drive through that area now. Please don't make more restricted access for
those of us who commute!!! Pedestrians can use the crosswalks at the stoplights!!
9- cr_ aye a lot of confusion instead of improving safety
