+1 3 i sup^ort changes 'oecause something has tc be done to protect peresc-ans ar•c. •_yaisis. The
changes in those plans are a good step in the rignt directic`t. 4o\vever, i nave two nnajor concerns
that needs to oa adressed before i can get behind any changes. The first is that I'm not sure I see
much improvement to protect pedestrians and cyclists crossing ECR. Also, I can't get behind
char Eggs t' .at don't address traffic flow, specifical'v the ti. ing of lights. There 'alre tc 're pa. i -ds
when cars -an get from Jerfersc;n to Oak hitting at most one red light. Menio Pan, clto something
similar. I can regularly go from Roble to Valparaiso without hitting a single light!
I'm going to pass on voting on this one. I've looked at the charts but without seeing larger
renditions and having somebodywaik me through it I don't think I'm
3 While I don't have time to review carefully, if the planned changes won't adversely impact auto
traffic concestion, I support them!
The city let's developers build out too close to the street
3 deferring to comments of those who have reviewed needs and given input to design
3 1 haven't seen the plan but often when they make these "improvements " they make it worse for
drivers. I'm against that.
3. Has bicycle and pedestrian safety been abnormally challenging in this aree '
3 1 sup,aor-. gut think me^ey could be used for ^trier things t: -a- a -e me ' .,-art=
3 seems or tome but if they do something whicn I don't care about have the - i not r k, ss. EI
Camino i,: San Carlos is awful with all the unnessasary construction
3. I'm all fo ped and cycling safety improvements, but everything I read seemed to it Icer _ _
the changes would further restrict or complicate driving through that area--,. fhici. is alreE , xf
difficult especially at commute times. If the pians also include maintaining, L-. be'cte . im^i o., rg
the drivabiiity of that area, I would support this with a S.
© 2018 Voca Advocacy Inc. Redwood City. California
