REV: 10-06-2022 JB <br />EXHIBIT A <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES AND FEE <br />The scope of services presented below details additional work to be performed by Consultant for <br />completion of the Sanitary Sewer System Master Plan for the City. Task numbers refer to the <br />Original Agreement Scope of Services. For information, additional work on original tasks is labeled <br />as [Additional]. New tasks are labeled as [New]. <br />[Additional] TASK 1 – PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND QUALITY CONTROL <br />The Consultant will prepare monthly status reports and invoices, and will closely monitor project <br />budget, labor hours expended, and schedule throughout the remaining duration of project. The <br />monthly status reports will describe the work completed during the previous month, anticipated <br />work for the following month, current budget and schedule status, and any project issues requiring <br />discussion or resolution. <br />The Consultant will attend up to six (6) teleconference meetings with the City’s project manager <br />and other City staff as needed to discuss project progress and issues related to key project tasks. <br />The Consultant will attend up to two (2) in-person meetings with City staff and elected officials for <br />approval of the Master Plan, such as one (1) Utilities Sub-Committee Meeting and one (1) City <br />Council Meeting. The Consultant’s National Practice Leader or Senior Technical Practice Leader <br />will attend and assist City staff answer technical questions about the Master Plan. The Consultant <br />may present a portion of the staff report to committee or council. For budgeting purposes, it is <br />assumed City Staff will prepare meeting materials and the Consultant will review, comment and <br />add to the draft staff reports or presentations. <br />Deliverables: <br />• Monthly status reports <br />• Monthly invoices <br />• Comments and supplemental information for draft staff reports and presentations to Council <br />Sub-Committee and City Council <br />[Additional] TASK 5 – DEVELOP DESIGN FLOW AND HYDRAULIC CRITERIA <br />The Consultant will make recommendations on revisions or improvements to the City’s 2019 <br />Engineering Standards to the sections of Volume I (Standard Specifications) and Volume II <br />(Standard Details) specifically related to sanitary sewers and to Volume III, Part VI (Sanitary Sewer <br />System Design Criteria) and Attachment L. <br />Deliverables: <br />• PDF markups on relevant sections and details of the Engineering Standards. <br />[Additional] TASK 6 – DEVELOP HYDRAULIC MODEL <br />Under this task, the Consultant will update the InfoWorks™ ICM hydraulic model developed and <br />used for the Master Plan. The City will provide design or record drawings for sewer improvement <br />projects that were not included in the original GIS database on which the Master Plan model was <br />based. The Consultant will also update the future model scenario to incorporate planned or <br />proposed developments identified by the City since the original list of future developments was <br />provided in 2019.
