<br />1. Create a citywide Integrated Services Workgroup that is focused on supporting <br />non-profits and government entities involved with school-based and school- <br />linked efforts to better align their and the schools interests, leverage information <br />to make better program and policy decisions and establish protocols to facilitate <br />service integration. <br />2. Provide more focused support to the Fair Oaks Elementary Community School <br />and its partners to develop and implement effective parent engagement <br />strategies. These strategies will be an integral component of the sites' <br />community school work plan. <br /> <br />The Peninsula Partnership will: <br />1. Depending on the availability of funds, provide implementation support of <br />$100,000 beginning July 1, 2006 through June 30, 2007 and continuing to <br />provide $100,000.00 for two years thereafter. <br />2. Provide fiscal and grant management supervision. <br />3. Co-lead the establishment and development of a citywide Integrated Services <br />Workgroup - help support connections to Partnership's other efforts (i.e., School <br />Readiness Assessment, Kickoff to Kindergarten program and School Readiness <br />Initiative) <br />4. Actively participate in Redwood City 2020 parent leadership planning group <br />5. Design a comprehensive parent involvement and leadership program for <br />Redwood City 2020 Community Schools that is piloted at Fair Oaks Elementary <br />School <br />6. Work with Redwood City 2020 partners on appropriate evaluation plan to <br />measure impact of Community Schools, including usage of Youth Data Archives <br />7. Prepare progress report and presentation for PCF's Distribution Committee <br /> <br />Redwood City 2020 will: <br />1. Invite Peninsula Partnership to be part of its management body <br />2. Manage the development and implementation of Community School Work <br />plans <br />3. Manage the Community School Coordinators <br />4. Oversee relationships with non-profits (PCRC, YFES, Children's Place) and <br />provide conflict resolution when necessary <br />5. Lead fundraising efforts for core expenses of Community Schools <br />6. Co-lead the establishment and development of a citywide Integrated Services <br />Workgroup <br />7. Lead and manage evaluation of Community Schools, including usage of Youth <br />Data Archives <br />
