Senior Planner
City of Redwood City
1017 Middlefield Road
P.O. Box 391
Redwood City, CA 94063

Re:

Contract Planning Services for Seaport Self Storage

Dear Jill:

I am pleased to submit this revised proposal to outline a scope of work for contract
planning services for the City of Redwood City. The intent of the proposed service is to
provide project review and management of entitlement permits for the proposed Seaport
Self Storage Project, under the direction of the Senior Planner. It is my understanding
that, at a minimum, a Conditional Use Permit, and an Architectural Permit will be
required for the project. I would prepare an Initial Study for the project's environmental
assessment with the anticipation of it resulting in a Negative Declaration.

Planning Services Provided

Anticipated contract services include the following:

1. Regular meetings with staff to understand the project and City codes and
procedures, to 'coordinate project review among the pertinent departments, to
review and receive feedback on preliminary work products, and to receive
direction regarding policy and procedural approaches.

Review of the project application, plans, and support documents. This would also
include attendance at Design Review meetings and publîc meetings.

Review of pertinent sections of the City's General Plan, Zoning Ordinance and
related codes and policies.

Site visits.

Meetings and other communications with the applicant and the applicant's
representatives.

2.

3.

4.
5.

6.

Meetings and other communications with other interested parties, including
adjacent property owners or businesses, and any responsible agencies, including
but not limited to San Mateo County, the Bay Conservation and Development
Commission, the State Department of Fish and Game, and the Regional Water
Quality Control Board.

Preparation of letters and memoranda as necessary to outline the project status or
review comments.

7.

} 00 WA ¡¡IN "YON S¡ EFT

,lIt: "

CISCO CALliO N1A 94109 4\'.' ,IV
