Scope o/Work: Seaport Self Storage - Redwood City Page 2 10. Preparation of an Initial Study and associated Negative Declaration. Preparation of staff reports to the City's Architectural Review Committee, Planning Commission, and City Council. Attendance at meetings of the City's Architectural Review Committee, Zoning Administrator, Planning Commission, and City Council, as required (two (2) meetings with the ARC, one (1) meeting with the Zoning Administrator, and one (1) meetings with the Commission. 8. 9. This proposal is intended to anticipate work over a three to nine month period, at the discretion of the City of Redwood City. Work would primarily occur off-site, but I will be readily available to meet at City Hall or elsewhere as needed during the course of the project. Should the project require any specialty subconsultant(s) (i.e. biological resources, soils engineer, etc.) for the preparation of the Initial Study, the budget would increase based on the fee associated with the subconsultant(s) work and my time related to the review of the subconsultant(s) work products and insertion of explanation into the Initial Study on a time and materials basis. Billing and Project Cost Work will be billed at the rate of $120.00 per hour, billed in quarter-hour increments. All hours worked will be accounted for in detail and invoiced to the City on a monthly basis. Any and all unusual expenses incurred in the perfonnance of this work, including but not limited to printing and copying, photo processing, etc., will be invoiced to the City at no additional mark-up. Mileage or travel expenses are anticipated based on the number of site visits and attendance of public meetings. Project costs are estimated at $18,960.00, projected as outlined in the attached Table 1, and shall not exceed that figure without the express written pennission of the City, after consultation with the project applicant. The project estimate is not, however, intended to be a "not-to-exceed" figure, as project and process complexities cannot be predicted with certainty and it is unknown at this time whether subconsultants would be hired for specialized analysis as indicated above.
