6.E. - Page 1 of 16 <br />/<�ik <br />Redwood <br />CitylCallifornia <br />Faunded 1867 <br />A,&/ <br />DATE: March 11, 2019 <br />SUBJECT <br />STAFF REPORT <br />To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From the City Manager <br />Annexation of 735 Upland Road, Assessor's Parcel Number 058-282-130, to the Oak Knoll Sewer <br />Maintenance District <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Adopt a resolution consenting to the new sewer service annexation of 735 Upland Road, Assessor's Parcel <br />Number 058-282-130, to the Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District (District) subject to the following <br />conditions and approving and authorizing the City Manager to execute an Annexation Agreement with <br />the Property Owner: <br />1. District pays a sewer facility fee of $960.00 to the City; <br />2. District pays a wastewater treatment capacity fee of $2,135.70 to the City; and <br />3. The property owner agrees to consent to future annexation of the property to the City. <br />STRATEGIC INITIATIVE <br />Public Safety <br />BACKGROUND <br />Pursuant to the Agreement Between Oak Knoll Sewer Maintenance District and City of Redwood City <br />for Sewage Treatment and Disposal dated March 18, 1958, the County of San Mateo Department of <br />Public Works submitted a request by the property owner of 735 Upland Road (Clap Financial, LLC), <br />APN 058-282-130 (location map attached) that the property be annexed to the Oak Knoll Sewer <br />Maintenance District for sanitary sewer services.
