<br /> 5.18 <br /> Page 37 <br /> individual event participant shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary <br /> State Alcohol and Beverage Control permits and San Mateo County Health <br /> permits. <br />9. Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and <br /> save harmless City, its City Council, officers. boards, commissions, <br /> employees, volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or <br /> claims to which City may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, <br /> resulting from or arising out of the performance or failure to perform of <br /> Permittee hereunder, or otherwise arising from or arising out of said event or <br /> any activities herein permitted. <br />10. City Services: Except as otherwise noted, the City agrees to provide those <br /> services requested In the letter dated May 15, 2006, in furtherance of the <br /> activities herein permitted. <br /> Specifically, City agrees to provide the following services: <br /> Parks and Recreation: <br /> (a) Deliver available bleachers to Marshall Street between Hamilton and <br /> Winslow streets, prior to and pick up after the Parade. (Place on <br /> sidewalk in front of Law Library). <br /> (b) Open the gates at the Marshall Street parking structure after 6 PM on <br /> July 3 and leave open until normal operations on July 5. <br /> Public Works: <br /> (a) Provide two street sweepers to be available at approximately 10:00 AM <br /> to pick up horse droppings along the Parade Route and the designated <br /> horse lineup areas. Street sweeping is also requested for the Festival <br /> area at approximately 7:00 PM after the Festival has closed on <br /> Sunday, July 4. <br /> (b) It is requested that street sweeping in the Festival area not begin until <br /> 7:00 PM to allow vendors to complete their breakdown and leave the <br /> area. <br /> (c) Provide street barricades for the Parade and Festival Area at the <br /> locations and times listed in Appendix 8. <br /> (d) Provide traffic cones and street barricades for Parade. Festival, <br /> Fireworks areas and other traffic diversion requirements as determined <br /> by the Police Department.
