I G I ;I A L <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13933 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br />OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br />SERVICES FOR TRAFFIC STUDY /ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br />OF 600 BAIR ISLAND ROAD <br />(FEHR & PEERS ASSOCIATES, INC.) <br />WHEREAS, City requires a traffic study and environmental analysis in <br />order to understand the traffic impact of a proposed development of 2 five -story <br />office buildings and 1 three -level parking structure with approximately 980 <br />parking spaces; and an alternative development of 2 three -story office buildings <br />with approximately 596 surface parking spaces on a 5.18 acre site located at <br />600 Bair Island Road in the City of Redwood City (the "Project "); and <br />WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of a traffic study <br />and environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ( "CEQA "; Pub. Res. Code §2100 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br />implementive thereof ( "State CEQA Guidelines'; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, the City of Redwood City has <br />determined that the traffic study which is part of said environmental studies and <br />documentation shall be prepared pursuant to contract entered into with <br />Consultant subject to funding therefore by Capital Land Corporation and Marina <br />Investments, Inc.
