<br />4. Units produced as required under Section 504 (5% for wheel chair <br />users and 2% adaptable for vision and hearing impaired) shall be affirmatively <br />marketed continuously and in perpetuity, separately from non-disabled units and <br />exclusively to persons with disabilities in conjunction with the City of Redwood <br />City with preference given Redwood City first then countywide. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Developer will be required to give preference to <br />families/individuals with a bona fide wheelchair user family <br />member for the units that are built in compliance the Federal <br />Uniform Accessibility Standards (or equivalent Safe Harbor <br />Design Standards) for wheelchair users. Affirmative marketing <br />shall be ongoing and continuous until such units are occupied <br />by eligible households. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Developer will be required to give preference to <br />families/individuals with a hearing or sight seeing impaired <br />family members for the one unit that is built in compliance with <br />the Federal Uniform Accessibility Standards (or equivalent Safe <br />Harbor Design Standards) for people who are hearing or sight <br />impaired. <br /> <br />5. Developer shall designate 11 fixed HOME units or allow 11 floating <br />HOME units. Developer shall Notify City whether HOME assisted units are Fixed <br />or Floating upon occupancy of the units and submittal of a Tenant Profile Report <br />for the HOME Program within 30 days from occupancy of the last HOME <br />designated unit. <br /> <br />6. In the event there are more qualified appliænts than opportunities <br />available, Developer shall apply preferences, establish an eligibility list and hold <br />a Lottery to select appliænt order to proceed for screening. <br /> <br />General Outreach Requirements: <br /> <br />Developer shall define one official marketing date on which all marketing <br />information and application materials shall be available on an equal opportunity <br />basis to all prospective applicants. Developer shall make the official date known <br />and shall coordinate the affirmative marketing effort with the City's Housing <br />Coordinator, Human Services Manager, and Public Communications Manager <br />who will issue press releases and assure that marketing materials are available <br />in all City facilities, on the City's Housing and general websites, and to the <br />Human Service Network of non profit providers serving low income Redwood <br />City residents. <br /> <br />The remaining units in the project may be marketed with preference to people <br />who live and/or work in the incorporated limits of Redwood City and æn provide <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />.".~..".._..._._.-"...~~ ,,"'d._"'._-"--~~"'---'_.' <br />
