5.2 Section — Final Acceptance <br />A. Final Acceptance — Community Activities Building Renovation <br />Recommendation: <br />Accept the Community Activities Building, <br />retention. (304) <br />and authorize the release of bonds and <br />MINUTE ORDER 06 -97 <br />5.3 Section — Resolutions <br />A. The Human Resources Department is requesting additional funds for the design <br />and delivery of citywide customer service training. <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve resolution amending HR budget to provide funds in the amount of <br />$14,840 to the Human Resources Department to provide customer service <br />training to customer - facing employees in the spring and summer of 2006. These <br />funds will cover three distinct modules of customer service training: 1) Train the <br />trainer module so staff can deliver the training in the future; 2) Supervisor <br />workshop to give managers the skills to motivate and empower customer facing <br />employees; 3) Two half -day sessions of customer service training for customer - <br />facing employees. (501) <br />RESOLUTION 14712 AMENDING FISCAL YEAR 2005 -2006 HUMAN RESOURCES <br />DEPARTMENT BUDGET <br />B. Renew agreement with the County Supervisors Association of California (CSAC) <br />Excess Insurance Authority (EIA) for the purchase of Workers' Compensation <br />Excess Insurance <br />Recommendation: <br />Approve, by resolution the Joint Powers Agreement creating the CSAC Excess <br />Insurance Authority and approve by motion, to renew the agreement with CSAC <br />Excess Insurance Authority formerly California Public Entity Insurance Authority <br />(CPEIA) for its workers' compensation excess insurance coverage effective July 1, <br />2006 and ending June 30, 2007.
