Introduce Ordinance amending Redwood City Code — Section 38.5 — Water <br />Basic Service Charge; <br />2. Adopt a resolution amending Section 3 of the Rules and Regulations of the <br />Redwood City Water Department (Public Works Services Department) related <br />to water rates. <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 38.5 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO WATER SERVICE CHARGES AND FEES <br />RESOLUTION 14714 AMENDING SECTION 3 OF THE RULES AND REGULATIONS <br />OF THE REDWOOD CITY WATER DEPARTMENT (PUBLIC WORKS SERVICES <br />DEPARTMENT) RELATING TO WATER RATES; AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION <br />NO. 14647 <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by those present. (805) <br />MINUTE ORDER 06 -122 <br />9. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST - <br />A. Legislation (information only) - This sub - section involves possible discussion of <br />City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities <br />Priority Focus Bulletin No. 20 -2006 and 21 -2006. Council may direct staff to act <br />on positions taken by Council. (Copies of League of California Cities Priority Focus <br />available in City Clerk's Department.) <br />B. Council Member Howard — stated that in April she had presented a report to <br />Council on a proposed shuttle and that Council approved moving forward in the <br />planning of a future shuttle transport for the City. A resolution was approved in <br />support of a shuttle service and the Peninsula Congestion Relief Alliance of which <br />she is Chair, applied for Lifeline funding for shuttle transport through C /CAG. The <br />projects were reviewed and will move forward for recommendation on June 8, one <br />of which is $61,000.00 for Redwood City.
