(805) MINUTE ORDER 06 -122 9. MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST - A. Legislation (information only) - This sub - section involves possible discussion of City Position on Proposed Legislation described in the League of California Cities Priority Focus Bulletin No. 20 -2006 and 21 -2006. Council may direct staff to act on positions taken by Council. (Copies of League of California Cities Priority Focus available in City Clerk's Department.) B. Council Member Howard — stated that in April she had presented a report to Council on a proposed shuttle and that Council approved moving forward in the planning of a future shuttle transport for the City. A resolution was approved in support of a shuttle service and the Peninsula Congestion Relief Alliance of which she is Chair, applied for Lifeline funding for shuttle transport through C /CAG. The projects were reviewed and will move forward for recommendation on June 8, one of which is $61,000.00 for Redwood City. She further thanked the Council for approving the resolution and stated that there is more funding available that will be sought.
