Park and Recreation Commission Page 4 <br />Minutes of April 26, 2006 <br /> <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> <br />-Director Centeno advised the Commissioners that the Historic Resources <br />Advisory Committee and Planning Commission will be going to Council to <br />establish the “Mezesville Historic District”. A packet of information about this <br />project was provided to the Commissioners for their information. <br /> <br />th <br />-Commissioner Swope invited everyone to attend the 20 Annual Prayer <br />Breakfast on May 4 from 7:00-9:00am at the Crowne Plaza in Foster City. <br />The event is a fundraiser for the Service League of San Mateo County and <br />the cost is $40.00 per person. <br /> <br />-Director Centeno said that the Council will be interviewing Commission <br />applicants on May 1 and May 15 and that appointments will be made in early <br />June. <br /> <br />ITEMS FOR NEXT MONTH’S AGENDA <br /> <br />-(May) Approval of Recommendation of Park Development Ordinance, Art & <br />th <br />Wine Festival, 4 of July Participation, Presentation regarding creeks, <br />feedback on Veterans Memorial Complex, Presentation from Custodial <br />Manager Ramon Aguilar, Windmill Project <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Park and Recreation Commission was adjourned <br />at 9:07pm to be reconvened at 7:30pm on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at the <br />Community Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City, <br />California. <br />
