<br />EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> <br />Budget Narrative <br />City of Redwood City as fiscal agent for <br />Redwood City 2020 <br />Fiscal Year 2005-2006 <br /> <br />The City of Redwood City holds these funds ($251,930) as fiscal agent to Redwood City <br />2020. Redwood City 2020 will allocate funds to the Redwood City School <br />District/Redwood City Family Centers as follows: <br /> <br />Community School Project <br />Funds are allocated to the Redwood City School District Community School <br />Coordinators for program support and development, and oversight of implementation <br />and integration of services at each Community School Site. (partial salary only, no <br />benefits) <br /> <br />SUBTOTAL: COMMUNITY SCHOOLS <br /> <br />$12,000 <br />$65,000 <br /> <br />$77,000 <br /> <br />- Fair Oaks Community School Coordination Position <br />- Hoover Community School Coordinator Position <br /> <br />Differential Response Program <br />Funds are allocated to the Redwood City Family Centers for the full implementation of <br />Child Welfare Redesign - Differential Response in Redwood City. <br /> <br />-Partial funding of 4 Administrative Secretary positions <br />at the Community School Sites: Taft, Fair Oaks, <br />Kennedy and Hoover. <br /> <br />$12,500 <br /> <br />-Differential Response funds for facilities/office space <br />*one time purchase expense with ongoing leasing costs <br /> <br />$24,000 <br /> <br />SUBTOTAL: DIFFERENTIAL RESPONSE <br /> <br />$36,500 <br /> <br />Early Learning and Family Support Program <br />Redwood City 2020 is the recipient of funds from the First 5 Commission of San Mateo <br />County for the Redwood City Early Learning and Family Support Program to implement <br />family support and quality preschool services, in partnership with the Redwood City <br />School District's Community Schools, from July 1, 2004 through June 30, 2007.
