6.K. - Page 34 of 190 <br />Effective July 1, 2019, the annual uniform allowance will be increased to Eeight <br />Hundred Ddollars ($800) per fiscal year per employee, and will be paid on a <br />bi-weeklybasis in the amount of TthiLbI -Ddollars and Sseveny--Sseven cents <br />($30.77) per pay period. <br />Uniform allowance will be part „of the PERS reportable compensation only for <br />those em looyees who are classic CalPERS members, as determined by CaIPERS <br />regulations. <br />7.145 Tuition Reimbursement <br />Regular employees shall be eligible for reimbursement of costs of tuition, <br />registration fees, books and supplies and other educational expenses incurred <br />in connection with enrollment in and successful completion of courses of <br />instruction related to the employee's position with the e-C..ity or a higher position <br />with the City. <br />eAn employee shall be eligible to receive reimbursement, not to exceed Seven <br />Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($750.00) per fiscal year for the above costs, <br />provided that the courses of instruction require attendance at an accredited <br />community college or university, are part of a curriculum leading to a degree or <br />given by an accredited institution of learning, are approved in advance of <br />enrollment by the Personnel Officer and the employee's department head, and <br />the employee successfully completes each course submitted for <br />reimbursement with a grade of "C" or better, or a passing grade in a pass/fail <br />course.
