6.K. - Page 36 of 190 <br />The City has the right to discontinue the bilingual differential premium pay at <br />any time based on changes to the business needs, provided that the City gives <br />the exclusive representative ten (10) days` notice prior to such revocation, in <br />order to allow the opportunity for the parties to meet and confer. <br />7.175 Retiree Health Savings (RHS) Plan <br />The City shall continue to provide a retirement Health Savings (RHS) plan <br />under IRS Code 213 for members to set aside pre-tax money for payment of <br />post -employment qualified medical expenses that will be incurred after <br />separation of service. The plan will cover retiree, spouse or dependent <br />reimbursements for eligible medical and dental out-of-pocket expenses such as <br />premiums, prescription drugs, doctor co -pays and eyeglasses. The plan may be <br />funded by accrued vacation leave, compensatory time, sick leave payout (or a <br />portion of it) and/or payroll deductions. Contributions to the plan must be <br />uniform across bargaining unit members and may be changed ata4y-at-ti�e <br />U� den's deteFm'R�.only as mandated by the City. Effective as soon as <br />administratively feasible, the City will set up RHS accounts with an initial, <br />uniform employee contribution. <br />7.188 Boat Pillet Ince 't"Special Equipment Operator Pay <br />Fire Boat Pilots must be certified in the areas designated by the Fire Chief and <br />referenced by the Fire Boat Pilot Endorsement Checklist in the Lexi of Manual <br />to be eligible to receive Special E ui ment Operator premium pay. <br />Effective January 7, 2019, qualified Fire Boat Trainees designated by the Fire <br />Chief shall receive SpecialEquipment Operator Trainee premium pav of two <br />Effective January_ 7, 2019,qualified Fire Boat Pilots designated by the Fire <br />Chief shall be eligible to receive an additional two and one half (2.5%) Special <br />Eguipment Operator premium, for a total of five percent (5%) base pay,on a <br />full-time basis. <br />Effective January 7, 2019, one (1) qualified Marine Unit Lead Fire Captain <br />designated by the Fire Chief shall be eligible to receive a total of five percent <br />5% base pay, on a full-time basis. <br />Fire Boat Pilots must commit toe boat program participation for a minimum of <br />four 4 ears. <br />With the exception of the Marine Unit Lead Fire Captains shall not be eligible <br />for Special Equipment Operator premium pay. <br />Staffing shall be at the Fire Chief's discretion, with no fewer than nine (9) Fire <br />� <br />B��o{{at Pilots representing the Department at one time. <br />25 <br />279 <br />
