'ter <br />Subject to approval of the Fire Chief, employees assigned to a forty (40) hour <br />work week schedule may work on a designated holiday and receive holiday <br />compensation for that time period consistent with those assigned to a twenty- <br />four (24) hour duty schedule. Such employees shall be exempt from "Feast <br />Day" provisions and practices, and shall receive no additional compensation in <br />the form of pay or time off in the event the employee is required to work on <br />any of these days set forth in Section 8.1.
