The Vision Service Plan B provides <br />for an exam every � g1ve_k12) months, lenses every twelve 12_� months if <br />needed, and frames every two 2) years if needed. There is to be no <br />deductible for employees, but a twenty dollar ($20.00) per person deductible <br />will apply to dependents each time benefits are available and will be paid by <br />the employee. The Cily will pay ninety percent 90% of the vision insurance <br />pren2iunL fQr eligible employees and dependents. <br />19.7 Long Term Disability Insurance <br />The City will reimburse twenty-five dollars ($25.00) per month per employee <br />towards the cost of Long Term Disability. <br />SECTION 20 — BENEFITS DURING STRIKE TEAM ASSIGNMENT <br />Any employee on State or Federal Assignment shall remain an employee of the City and <br />shall retain all rights and benefits as provided to City employees covered by this <br />agreement, notwithstanding State or Federal reimbursements to the City. <br />SECTION 21 - SAFETY <br />21.1 Both the City and the Union shall expend every effort to see to it that work is <br />performed with a maximum degree of safety, consistent with the requirement <br />to conduct efficient operations. <br />21.2 As required by the National Fire Protection Association (N.F.P.A.) sections 1500; <br />5-3,9; and 1404; 4-2,3, and the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR)/title 8/5144, <br />the employer shall not permit respirators with tight fitting face pieces to be <br />worn by employees who have facial hair that comes between the sealing <br />surface of the face piece and the face or that interferes with valve function, or <br />64 <br />318 <br />
