6.K. - Page 79 of 190 <br />form agreeable to the City and to the Union indicating the nature of the outside <br />employment. <br />No emblem, badge or other employee identification shall be worn by any person while in <br />the employment of someone other than the City. <br />SECTION 24 — RESIDENCE REQUIREMENT <br />There shall be no residence requirement. <br />SECTION 25 — GENERAL PROVISIONS <br />25.1 Damaged or Lost Property <br />Damage and loss of any Fire Department property or employee's personal <br />property shall be reviewed by an investigating committee, composed of a <br />representative designated by the Fire Chief and a member of the Redwood City <br />Fire Department designated by the Union, in order to determine the <br />responsibility for the damage or loss and method and amount of compensation. <br />25.2 Release of Information <br />The City shall release information to creditors only upon proper identification of <br />the creditor and an acceptable reason for the inquiry. Information released <br />shall be limited to verification of employment, length of employment and <br />verification of salary information if the creditor inquiring first states the correct <br />salary to the City. <br />25.3 Grooming <br />Employees shall present a neat appearance at all times. Facial hair shall not <br />interfere with the seal of a face mask. Personal appearance standards shall be <br />consistent with the Lexipol Opefatiens-Po_ lice Manual. <br />25.4 Employee Personal Locker <br />An employee's personal locker may be opened in the employee's presence, with <br />the employee's consent, with a valid search warrant or where the employee has <br />been notified that a search will be conducted. <br />25.5 Smoking or Chewing of Tobacco Products <br />Employees shall be prohibited from using tobacco products including, but not <br />limited to, cigarettes, cigars, pipes, and chewing tobacco within twenty (20) <br />feet of any City of Redwood City facility or vehicle. <br />68 <br />322 <br />
