<br />9. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />individual event participant shall be responsible for obtaining all necessary <br />State Alcohol and Beverage Control permits and San Mateo County Health <br />permits. Permittee shall also be responsible for obtaining all necessary City, <br />County and State permits necessary for the fireworks display. <br /> <br />Hold Harmless: Permittee shall assume the defense of and indemnify and <br />save harmless City, its City Council, officers, boards, commissions, employees, <br />volunteers, and agents from all suits, actions, damages, or claims to which City <br />may be subjected of any kind or nature whatsoever, resulting from or arising <br />out of the performance or failure to perform of Permittee hereunder, or <br />otherwise arising from or arising out of said event or any activities herein <br />permitted. <br /> <br />City Services: Except as otherwise noted, the City agrees to provide those <br />services requested in the letter dated May 15, 2006, in furtherance of the <br />activities herein permitted. <br /> <br />Specifically, City agrees to provide the following services: <br /> <br />Parks and Recreation: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Prior to the parade, deliver available bleachers to Arguello Street, <br />across from the medical office building (801 Brewster Street), and <br />pick up after the Parade. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Open the gates at the Marshall Street parking structure after 6:00 p.m. <br />on July 3 and leave open until normal operations on July 5. <br /> <br />Public Works: <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />Provide two street sweepers to be available at approximately 10:00 a.m. <br />to pick up horse droppings along the Parade Route and the designated <br />horse lineup areas. Street sweeping is also requested for the Festival <br />area at approximately 7:00 p.m. after the Festival has closed on July 4. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />It is requested that street sweeping in the Festival area not begin until <br />7:00 p.m. to allow vendors to complete their breakdown and leave the <br />area. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />Provide street barricades for the Parade and Festival area at the <br />locations and times listed in Appendix B. <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />Provide traffic cones and street barricades for Parade, Festival, <br />Fireworks areas and other traffic diversion requirements as determined <br />by the Police Department. PCA requested barricades for the July 4th <br />event locations that are listed in Appendix B. <br />
