6.13. - Page 15 of 17 <br />Task 2 Draft Design Guidelines and Architectural Permit Findings <br />2.1 Outline Potential Design Guideline Concepts and Illustrations and Permit Findings <br />Based on the feedback received on options to address residential design issues, LWC will work <br />with City staff and prepare an outline identifying key concepts to be addressed by design <br />guidelines and potential illustrations to represent those concepts. The outline will also include <br />topics to be addressed by Architectural Permit Findings to assist decision makers in review of <br />project applications. <br />2.2 Review Draft Design Guidelines and Findings <br />LWC will review draft Design Guidelines and Findings prepared by City staff based on the outline <br />prepared in Task 2.1. Review exercises will include beta testing the design guidelines against <br />real projects. <br />2.3 Illustrations <br />LWC will provide production -ready illustrations to demonstrate design guideline concepts in the <br />draft Design Guidelines. <br />2.4 Summary Memo <br />LWC will prepare a brief (two-page) memo describing how the draft Design Guidelines and <br />findings respond to community input. <br />Task 2 Meetin_ps Task2Products <br />• Teleconferences <br />and meetings to review draft <br />guidelines <br />Task3 Review and Adoption <br />• Guideline Concept and Permit <br />Findings Outline <br />• Draft Design Guidelines and Findings <br />Review <br />• Design Guideline Illustrations <br />• Summary Memo <br />3.1 Architectural Advisory Committee/PC Meeting <br />LWC will prepare for and attend a joint meeting with the Architectural Advisory Committee and <br />Planning Commission to present and get feedback on the draft Design Guidelines and Findings. <br />3.2 Community Workshop <br />LWC will prepare for and conduct a community workshop to present and get feedback on the <br />draft Design Guidelines and Findings. <br />3.3 Public Hearings <br />LWC will prepare for and attend up to two public hearings for the adoption of the Design <br />Guidelines and Findings.
