6.D. - Page 17 of 27 <br />Task 3.2: Traffic Analysis and Summary <br />Consultant shall conduct traffic analysis to summarize the potential impact of each <br />design alternative. Consultant shall provide a qualitative and quantitative traffic analysis <br />of the design alternatives that may include: <br />• Traffic signal warrants per Part 4 of the California Manual for Uniform Traffic <br />Control Devices (CAMUTCD) <br />• Level of Service analysis and comparison between the signalized and non - <br />signalized alternatives <br />• Level of Service analysis for proposed changes to existing geometry, lane <br />configuration, or operations <br />Task 3.213: Intersection and Traffic Analysis at Jefferson and Clinton <br />Consultant shall review the collected traffic and vehicle to pedestrian yield data at the <br />Jefferson/Clinton intersection to determine if additional crossing treatments are <br />warranted. Alta shall utilize the FHWA, Guide for improving Pedestrian Safety at <br />Uncontrolled Crossing Locations, to make recommendations. Recommendations made <br />may be further developed into conceptual design alternatives and a PS&E package as <br />part of an optional task. <br />Task 3 Deliverables: <br />• Up to three (3) conceptual design alternatives <br />• Order -of -magnitude construction cost estimates for the alternatives <br />• Traffic analysis for the alternatives <br />• Summary matrix comparing the alternatives <br />Note: The Jefferson/Clinton improvement design is listed under a separate, optional <br />task. No work shall be initiated for the Jefferson/Clinton intersection unless and until an <br />amendment to this Agreement is executed. <br />TASK 4: COMMUNITY OUTREACH <br />Task 4.1: Project Website <br />City staff will create and maintain the project webpage.
