6.D. - Page 17 of 27 Task 3.2: Traffic Analysis and Summary Consultant shall conduct traffic analysis to summarize the potential impact of each design alternative. Consultant shall provide a qualitative and quantitative traffic analysis of the design alternatives that may include: • Traffic signal warrants per Part 4 of the California Manual for Uniform Traffic Control Devices (CAMUTCD) • Level of Service analysis and comparison between the signalized and non - signalized alternatives • Level of Service analysis for proposed changes to existing geometry, lane configuration, or operations Task 3.213: Intersection and Traffic Analysis at Jefferson and Clinton Consultant shall review the collected traffic and vehicle to pedestrian yield data at the Jefferson/Clinton intersection to determine if additional crossing treatments are warranted. Alta shall utilize the FHWA, Guide for improving Pedestrian Safety at Uncontrolled Crossing Locations, to make recommendations. Recommendations made may be further developed into conceptual design alternatives and a PS&E package as part of an optional task. Task 3 Deliverables: • Up to three (3) conceptual design alternatives • Order -of -magnitude construction cost estimates for the alternatives • Traffic analysis for the alternatives • Summary matrix comparing the alternatives Note: The Jefferson/Clinton improvement design is listed under a separate, optional task. No work shall be initiated for the Jefferson/Clinton intersection unless and until an amendment to this Agreement is executed. TASK 4: COMMUNITY OUTREACH Task 4.1: Project Website City staff will create and maintain the project webpage. The webpage will provide for the dissemination of information to community members and stakeholders and may contain project schedule and status, memorandums, design concepts, and public meeting materials.
