<br />DES:djk ~1/24/97 <br /> <br />(027a/70) <br /> <br />7 . <br /> <br />WORK <br /> <br />SUBJECT <br /> <br />TO APPROVAL. <br /> <br />All work provided <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />this Agreement and more specifically described in the plans and <br /> <br />specifications herein referenced shall be subject to the approval <br /> <br />and acceptance by the City Engineer before the release of any <br /> <br />security required herein. <br /> <br />Reference is hereby made to <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />that <br /> <br />certain final map entitled, <br /> <br />"Lido Neighborhood Unit No. <br /> <br />4" , <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />those <br /> <br />certain <br /> <br />specifications <br /> <br />entitled, <br /> <br />"Supplemental <br /> <br />Specifications for Civil/Landscape/Irrigation Improvements" and, <br /> <br />(c) those certain plans on file in the office of the City <br />Engineer entitled, "Lido Neighborhood Unit No. 4 Mitigation <br />Channel", and (d) those certain specifications entitled <br /> <br />"Engineering Standards - City of Redwood City", adopted December <br /> <br />16, <br /> <br />1991, <br /> <br />for <br /> <br />a more <br /> <br />particular <br /> <br />description <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />work <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Upon <br /> <br />completion <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />aforementioned work, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />prior <br /> <br />to <br /> <br />the <br /> <br /> <br />Improvements generally described in this Agreement. <br /> <br />Said final <br /> <br />map, <br /> <br />plans and specifications referenced in this paragraph are <br /> <br />hereby <br /> <br />incorporated herein and made <br /> <br />a part of this Agreement. <br /> <br />release of any security required herein, Owner shall furnish City <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />a <br /> <br />complete <br /> <br />set <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />plans <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />drawings <br /> <br />showing <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />Improvements <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />their <br /> <br />actual <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />"as <br /> <br />built" <br /> <br />condition <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />location. <br /> <br />Partial release of any security required herein may be <br /> <br />granted, <br /> <br />at <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />discretion <br /> <br />of <br /> <br />City, <br /> <br />in <br /> <br />accordance <br /> <br />with <br /> <br />the <br /> <br />provisions of Section 66499.7 of the Government Code. <br /> <br />8. <br /> <br />GUARANTEE OF WORKMANSHIP AND MATERIALS. <br /> <br />Owner agrees <br /> <br />that if, within a period of one <br /> <br />(1 ) <br /> <br />year after final acceptance <br /> <br />of any work done under this Agreement, the improvements furnished <br /> <br />and/ or installed or constructed or caused to be constructed by <br /> <br />Owner, <br /> <br />or any of the work done under this Agreement, <br /> <br />fails to <br /> <br />6 <br />
