<br />SECTION 32. <br /> <br />Employees appointed to positions in the following <br /> <br />trainee classifications shall receive compensation computed by <br /> <br />the hour, for the designated steps as follows: <br />(a) Fire Fighter Trainee <br /> Steps (1) (2) (3) <br /> $3.65 3.84 - 4.03 per hour <br />(b) Police Officer Trainee <br /> <br />Steps (1) (2) (3) <br /> $3.65 - 3.84 - 4.03 per hour <br />SECTION 33. Employees appointed to positions in the class- <br /> <br />ifications designated in Section 1 through 27 hereof and who <br /> <br />are required to work an eight (8) hour shift commencing between <br /> <br />the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. shall receive additional <br /> <br />compensation in the amount of twenty-five cents (25t) per hour; <br /> <br />provided, however, that such additional compensation shall not be <br /> <br />included in computations for overtime or other pay differentials, <br /> <br />except, however, if such employee has worked an eight (8) hour <br /> <br />shift commencing between the aforementioned hours for a period of <br /> <br />at least thirty (30) working days immediately preceding a paid <br /> <br />holiday or the commencement of a vacation or the commencement of <br /> <br />a paid sick leave, said employee shall be compensated at his <br /> <br />established rate of pay plus the above mentioned twenty-five <br /> <br />cents (25t) per hour for the period of such holiday or leave. <br /> <br />Any permanent full-time employee appointed <br /> <br />SECTION 34. <br /> <br />to a position in any of the classifications designated in <br /> <br />Sections 1 through 27 hereof who is assigned in writing the <br /> <br />duties of a job classification with a higher salary range than <br /> <br />that to which he is regularly assigned, on a temporary basis, <br /> <br />for at least two consecutive working days shall, commencing <br /> <br />with the second day of such assignment, receive in lieu of <br /> <br />-19- <br />
