EXHIBIT VI <br />GENERAL RELOCATION NOTICE <br />DISPLACEMENT DUE TO CODE ENFORCEMENT <br />Tenant <br />Address <br />Redwood City, CA 9406_ <br />SUBJECT: NOTICE OF RELOCATION DUE TO SUBSTANDARD HOUSING <br />CONDITIONS - STREET, UNIT 0#(S) <br />Dear <br />On , the City Council authorized Resolution #i , ordering the owner of the <br />property in which you reside to abate the conditions. <br />The City may determine that based on the health and safety violations which exist, you <br />must temporarily move from the building while the property owner completes the <br />required repairs. <br />rr <br />If the owner fails to correct the substandard conditions by _, the City will have authority <br />to demolish the building and you may have to move permanently from the unit you <br />currently occupy. <br />If you are required to move temporarily or permanently to another unit, you will be <br />entitled to receive assistance to pay for the temporary housing. You will receive <br />assistance from the City's Housing & Redevelopment Division in locating suitable <br />temporary housing which will be paid for by the property owner. If you are required to <br />move permanently, you will be entitled to receive advisory services and Relocation <br />Assistance Payments pursuant to the City's Relocation Ordinance. The City's Building <br />Official will make a determineas to whether you must permanently relocate or if you <br />must move temporarily while repairs are being made. <br />We expect a determination to be made within the next 30 days and you will be contacted. <br />At that time you will receive by mail the necessary information and applications to apply <br />for relocation assistance payments. A Relocation Assessment Interview will be scheduled <br />to plan your move and assist you in locating replacement housing. <br />s! <br />
