217100 <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 41.2a of Ordinance No. 1130, as <br />amended, (the Zoning Ordinance), this Council hereby expresses its intention to <br />amend Article 15 of the Zoning Ordinance by amending Section 15.4 thereto to <br />read as follows: <br />" Section 15.4 Conditional Uses The following uses are permitted in <br />the CG District subject to first securing a use permit therefor. <br />a. Public or quasi - public uses. <br />b. Automobile service stations, cabinet shops, electrical, plumbing, or <br />heating shops, sheet metal shops, upholstery shops, bakeries, <br />creameries, bottling plants, laundries, and cleaning and dyeing <br />establishments, so long as any activities or operations connected <br />therewith which are normally capable of creating noise, odor, glare, or <br />dust are located wholly within a completely enclosed building or room <br />having no exterior entrance within 50 feet of any street or adjacent <br />property unless such entrance is completely shielded by part of the <br />building from such street or adjacent property. <br />c. Animal hospitals, veterinary clinics, and completely enclosed, <br />soundproofed kennels. <br />d. Commercial recreation facilities, including, but not limited to, swimming <br />pools, bowling alleys, skating rinks, golf- driving ranges, and dance <br />halls. <br />e. Bars, restaurants, catering establishments, and drive -in eating <br />establishments, including the sale of alcoholic beverages. <br />f. Lumber yards, building material sales yards, and public utility service <br />and corporation yards.
