- ORIGINAL 11/22/99 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13796 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY- <br /> OWNED PROPERTY SURPLUS; AND AUTHORIZING <br /> CONVEYANCE THEREOF <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns certain personal property <br /> consisting of a desktop computer, keyboard, monitor and mouse ("computer <br /> equipment"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code Section 37351 and Redwood <br /> City Charter Section 3-1/2(d), the City may dispose of surplus property no longer <br /> required or needed for present or prospective municipal purposes without sale; <br /> and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and has <br /> determined that the current reasonable market value of said surplus items to be <br /> conveyed is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00).; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to declare said <br />property surplus and authorize its conveyance to the Veterans Memorial Senior <br />Center Advisory Council, a private non-profit organization, in accordance with <br />Section 37351 of the Government Code and Section 3-1/2(d) of the Charter of <br />the City of Redwood City; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Reso-775 <br />DES:djk 1 <br />F:/Shared/RedwoodlCouncil <br />10/30/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
