3) Contractor shall employ the technology to scan and read the data off of all <br />manufacturers' barcodes. <br />4) For PPE that do not have a barcode or where the barcode is damaged, it shall be <br />replaced with a new pre-printed barcode by Contractor. <br />E. Cleaning Requirements <br />1) Contractor shall provide a Cleaning Program that is compliant with the most current <br />version of NFPA 1851 and the manufactures recommendations: <br />• Water temperatures shall not exceed 105°F <br />• Primary detergent packages used directly by the extractor/washer shall not contain <br />chlorine bleach or products containing d-limonene agents <br />• All detergents used shall have a Ph between 6.0 and 10.5 as indicated by the MSDS <br />• The extractor/washer shall not exceed 100 Gs at any point during the cleaning process <br />2) Contractor shall implement disinfecting procedures intended to eliminate the hazards <br />associated with blood and other biological fluids for each ensemble element <br />3) Contractor shall perform an Advanced Cleaning, per the requirements of the most <br />current version of NFPA 1851 for each ensemble element for which an advanced <br />inspection and/or complete liner inspection is performed. <br />4) When necessary Contractor shall perform Specialized Cleaning as defined by the <br />most current version of NFPA 1851 (hazardous material decontamination and cleaning). <br />5) Contractor shall perform an Advanced Cleaning for ensemble elements upon <br />request by the department. <br />F. Repair Requirements <br />Contractor shall provide a Repair Program, compliant with NFPA 1851. <br />Contractor shall repair all deficiencies identified in the Advanced Inspection that have <br />been approved for repair by the department, prior to being returned. Minor repairs, as <br />outlined in NFPA1851 Section 8.3 will be completed at no cost. Major repairs and <br />alterations shall be in accordance with Exhibit B excluding wildland Repair Price List <br />and Ensemble Useful Life Schedule. <br />Charges from Contractor shall not exceed $100.00, unless written authorization is <br />provided by the Redwood City Fire Department's designated point of contact. <br />G. Storage Requirements <br />All PPE in the possession of Contractor for service shall be stored per the most current <br />version of NFPA 1851 <br />REV: 03-05-19 RL <br />Page 9 of 20 <br />ATTY/AGR.2019.053/Ensemble Care and Maintenance Services <br />
