Task 7.2 10-15% Design Concepts
Consultant shall prepare a 10-15% corridor -wide concept plan for the preferred alternative by
building off the base map created in Task 2.1, and the initial set up in Task 5. Consultant shall
confirm construction feasibility and document the key factors affecting constructability,
including ROW constraints, location of utilities and infrastructure components.
The 10-15% concept plans shall include proposed curb alignments, basic lane striping, outlines
of planting areas and special hardscape treatments, and other information. It is assumed that
the conceptual drawings represent only concepts to solicit feedback from the community on
their preferred improvement alternative and for potential grant applications for future phases of
this project. The conceptual drawings are not to be used for construction as they are not
sufficient in detail or specificity to be used for that purpose. Future engineering analysis and
design, not included in this scope of services, will be required in order to prepare a final design
for construction and for construction engineering estimates. Revisions and modifications to the
conceptual design will be needed during the development of PS&E documents (Plans,
Specifications, and Estimates) which is outside of the scope of work for this Agreement.
Deliverables:
Draft CAD drawings and design basis for 10-15% design concepts
Task 7.3 Final Traffic Calming Plan
City will deliver one set of internally -consistent and consolidated comments to Consultant.
Consultant shall review all comments and revise the draft report and CAD drawings to produce
the final Traffic Calming Plan.
Deliverables:
Final plan report and appendices
Final CAD drawings and design basis for 10-15% design concepts
Page 18 of 20
REV: 03.28-19 PR
ATTY/AGR.2019.075/Fehr and Peers
