Task 4.2: Community Workshop Consultant shall work with the City to plan and host one engaging, collaborative, and interactive community workshop. The workshop will cover: project introduction, preliminary goals, existing conditions and constraints, outreach process, and the design alternatives developed in Task 3. Consultant shall develop outreach materials for the workshop, including graphics and drawings, roll plots, PowerPoint slides, and examples design alternatives. Consultant shall prepare bilingual meeting flyers for the City to distribute. Consultant shall document, collect, and summarize community comments and the feedback generated at the community workshop. Task4.3:Complete Streets Advisory Committee (CSAC) Presentation Based on the input received from the community workshop, Consultant shall prepare presentation material for the CSAC which may include graphics, design alternatives, and a summary of the outreach process. Consultant and the City will coordinate on the presentation to help explain the process of the project and the alternatives. Task 4 Deliverables: • Bilingual meeting flyer • Meeting facilitation, presentation, and meeting materials for community workshop • Meeting summary and documentation (sign -in sheet(s)) • CSAC presentation material TASK 5:15% DESIGN CONCEPT AND PLANNING REPORT Task 5.1:15% Concept Design Based on the input received from both the CSAC and community meeting, Consultant shall advance and update one alternative: the preferred altemative. The concept layouts and cross-sections for the preferred alternative shall be developed into a 15% design. Task 5.2: Summary Report Based on the findings of the 15% design, Consultant shall prepare a Preferred Project Alternative Summary Report consisting of the following design elements: • Alternative description • Evaluation of alternative benefits and attributes based on the Project Goals and Priorities Memo Page 15 of 23 REV: 03-28-19 PR ATTY/AGR.2019.074/Alta Planning + Design, Inc.
