Survey Control Plan This sheet shall provide Right of way (ROW) lines and control information that was used to establish the survey. This information may be used by the Consultant to establish control for any alignments used in the plan set. Layout Plans These sheets shall show the horizontal layout of the street, drainage, and other improvements including structures, median, curb, pedestrian ramps, traffic signals, lighting, and existing drainage, and utility facilities. Signage and Striping Plans These sheets shall include signage and striping design for the street and pathways. Consultant shall reference the City, Caltrans, CA MUTCD standards, and appropriate references for sign, marking, and striping elements and locations. Plans shall identify the standard referenced, size, color, and location of each, sign, marking, or stripe. Grading Plans Consultant shall prepare grading plans to show proposed gutter line grading for proper drainage. Sidewalk grading shall be provided, as necessary, where grading differs from the typical sections. Drainage Plans Consultant shall prepare drainage plans to show proposed storm drain modifications to apply proper drainage in the existing storm drain system, as required. Utility Relocation Plans These plans shall show existing underground and over- head utilities such as sewer, water, electrical, gas, and telecom that need to be relocated due to the project, as required. Traffic Signal, Lighting, and Electrical Plans If traffic signalization is selected, Consultant shall use the base map to prepare design -level plans showing the layout of the proposed traffic signal equipment, including the location(s) of the signal controller/cabinet, poles, pedestrian countdown signals, traffic signal interconnect, emergency vehicle pre-emption, traffic marking, striping and signage design, intersection safety lighting, etc. Designs will be in accordance with the City of Redwood City's current design standards, Caltrans design standards, and the CA MUTCD guidelines. The design shall include any additional detail and information needed for the traffic signal or electrical equipment to be furnished and installed.
