Survey Control Plan <br />This sheet shall provide Right of way (ROW) lines and control information that was <br />used to establish the survey. This information may be used by the Consultant to <br />establish control for any alignments used in the plan set. <br />Layout Plans <br />These sheets shall show the horizontal layout of the street, drainage, and other <br />improvements including structures, median, curb, pedestrian ramps, traffic signals, <br />lighting, and existing drainage, and utility facilities. <br />Signage and Striping Plans <br />These sheets shall include signage and striping design for the street and pathways. <br />Consultant shall reference the City, Caltrans, CA MUTCD standards, and appropriate <br />references for sign, marking, and striping elements and locations. Plans shall identify <br />the standard referenced, size, color, and location of each, sign, marking, or stripe. <br />Grading Plans <br />Consultant shall prepare grading plans to show proposed gutter line grading for <br />proper drainage. Sidewalk grading shall be provided, as necessary, where grading <br />differs from the typical sections. <br />Drainage Plans <br />Consultant shall prepare drainage plans to show proposed storm drain modifications to <br />apply proper drainage in the existing storm drain system, as required. <br />Utility Relocation Plans <br />These plans shall show existing underground and over- head utilities such as sewer, <br />water, electrical, gas, and telecom that need to be relocated due to the project, as <br />required. <br />Traffic Signal, Lighting, and Electrical Plans <br />If traffic signalization is selected, Consultant shall use the base map to prepare <br />design -level plans showing the layout of the proposed traffic signal equipment, <br />including the location(s) of the signal controller/cabinet, poles, pedestrian countdown <br />signals, traffic signal interconnect, emergency vehicle pre-emption, traffic marking, <br />striping and signage design, intersection safety lighting, etc. Designs will be in <br />accordance with the City of Redwood City's current design standards, Caltrans design <br />standards, and the CA MUTCD guidelines.
