Details Consultant shall prepare standard and special details that will be appropriate for the project design for each construction plan set. 65% Specifications and Estimate The Draft technical specifications shall be in City format. The draft specifications shall correlate with each of the bid items shown in the 65% cost estimate and the 65% plans. Likewise, Consultant shall prepare a corresponding itemized estimate of construction costs. The specifications shall be in MS Word, the estimate shall be in MS Excel format. It is assumed the City will provide the front end "boilerplate" specifications. Consultant shall transmit the 65% PS&E to the City for review and attend a meeting to review the documents. Based on City comments received, Consultant shall move forward with final 90% PS&E after approval from the City (see Task 7). Task 6 Deliverables: • 65% PS&E - Two (2) hardcopy sets of 24" X 36" plan documents, along with 8.5" X 11" specifications and estimates and topographic survey. Electronic versions shall be provided as well. Electronic drawings with be compatible with AutoCAD 2015. TASK 7:90% PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES Consultant shall meet with the City to review and begin to incorporate comments received on the 65% PS&E submittal, along with any other data collected, and refine the documents for the 90% PS&E submittal. Comments and responses shall be compiled into a matrix to document the process and original redlines shall be returned to the City. Draft technical specifications shall be prepared in accordance with the outline specifications prepared for the 65% PS&E. Requirements for all material submittals shall be included in the draft specifications. Similarly, the opinion of probable construction costs shall be updated and submitted. The 90% design shall consist: signing and striping drawings, street lighting and signal design, civil design and grading, construction notes, construction cost estimates and construction schedule. Consultant shall transmit the 90% PS&E to the City for review and attend a meeting to review the documents. Consultant may move forward with the 100% PS&E preparation in parallel with the City's Engineering Division review of the 65% PS&E in order to keep the project delivery on schedule.
