• Prepare addenda to bid documents, if required • Provide agenda and meeting minutes to pre-bid and pre -construction meetings • Responses to Requests for Information • Shop and material submission approvals • As -built drawings • Quality assurance and inspection • "Punch list" items (upon request) TASK 10: ADDITIONAL WORK (CONTINGENCY) Consultant shall provide additional support and services that arise during the project, for an amount not to exceed 10% of the agreement budget. The 10% contingency is included in the project budget as a separate line item. Consultant shall receive written approval from the City prior to initiating any "contingency' work. OPTIONAL TASK - DESIGN OF INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT JEFFERSON AND CLINTON The City may elect to authorize this additional task for the Consultant to prepare design alternatives, community outreach material, and design documents for intersection improvements identified as part of Task 3.2B. The specific scope shall be determined prior to the authorization of this task. It is assumed the design process for the Jefferson and Clinton improvements would proceed in parallel with the associated tasks in this contract. A lump sum cost was provided in the cost estimate that assumes the design of a pedestrian hybrid beacon. Actual design cost may vary once the scope is determined. No work on this task shall be authorized unless and until the agreement is amended by agreement of both parties. I. EXCLUSIONS The scope of this contract is intended to cover the work identified above. It does not include any of the following: • Environmental documents (CEQA or NEPA) or permits • Geotechnical analysis or recommendation • Utility potholing • ROW acquisition or any tasks related to acquisition (i.e., plat preparation, etc.) • Any other services not explicitly stated above Page 21 of 23 REV: 03.28-19 PR ATrY/AGR.2019.074/Alta Planning + Design, Inc.
