• Prepare addenda to bid documents, if required <br />• Provide agenda and meeting minutes to pre-bid and pre -construction meetings <br />• Responses to Requests for Information <br />• Shop and material submission approvals <br />• As -built drawings <br />• Quality assurance and inspection <br />• "Punch list" items (upon request) <br />TASK 10: ADDITIONAL WORK (CONTINGENCY) <br />Consultant shall provide additional support and services that arise during the project, <br />for an amount not to exceed 10% of the agreement budget. The 10% contingency is <br />included in the project budget as a separate line item. Consultant shall receive <br />written approval from the City prior to initiating any "contingency' work. <br />OPTIONAL TASK - DESIGN OF INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AT JEFFERSON AND CLINTON <br />The City may elect to authorize this additional task for the Consultant to prepare design <br />alternatives, community outreach material, and design documents for intersection <br />improvements identified as part of Task 3.2B. The specific scope shall be determined <br />prior to the authorization of this task. <br />It is assumed the design process for the Jefferson and Clinton improvements would <br />proceed in parallel with the associated tasks in this contract. A lump sum cost was <br />provided in the cost estimate that assumes the design of a pedestrian hybrid beacon. <br />Actual design cost may vary once the scope is determined. <br />No work on this task shall be authorized unless and until the agreement is amended by <br />agreement of both parties. <br />I. EXCLUSIONS <br />The scope of this contract is intended to cover the work identified above.
