8.13. - Page 47 of 72 <br />Exhibit "A" <br />Courthouse Square Administrative Guidelines <br />SECTION 1: PURPOSE AND AUTHORITY <br />The purpose of the Courthouse Square Event Administrative Guidelines is to <br />describe the policies and procedures for permitted events at Courthouse Square in <br />Redwood City ("City")., <br />The <br />"City ').- <br />The objectives of the permit requirements are: 1) to coordinate multiple uses of <br />limited space in order to protect public safety and preserve the historic Courthouse <br />Square; 2) to prevent dangerous, unlawful., or impermissible uses-; and 3) to provide <br />the City with reimbursements, when required, for assure .eC+fiy'sfRa,�ciaT <br />O RdReSS where events that use CityGGRSUFne services and resources or damage <br />City facilities. <br />Chapter 33A., Article III of the Redwood City Municipal Code ("City Code") sets forth <br />the permitting requirements for the use of Courthouse Square.
