"Courthouse Square Plus 1-4 Streets" means an event open to the public at <br />no charge which takes place on Courthouse Square and up to four (4) of the <br />surrounding streets and may involve any of the following: cooking or food <br />preparation; the use of a stage, road closures, or generators; the use of <br />tables or booths; the placement or use of other equipment and/or temporary <br />structures: staaina vehicles on the Dlaza per Section 5 ofin the Administrative <br />Guidelines. <br />C. "Courthouse Square Plus 5-7 Streets" means an event open to the public at <br />no charge which takes place on Courthouse Square and up to seven (7) of <br />the surrounding streets and may involve any of the following: cooking or food <br />preparation; the use of a stage, road closures, or generators; the use of <br />tables or booths; the placement or use of other equipment and/or temporary <br />structures: staaina vehicles on the Dlaza per Section 5 ofin the Administrative <br />Guidelines. <br />GD. "Exclusive Use" means an event that is closed to the public at which <br />attendance is by ticket or invitation only and may involve any of the following: <br />cooking or food preparation; the use of a stage, road closures, or generators; <br />the use of three ^r .,,^r^ tables or boothsi^r o n^mhinoti^n +h^r^^f\; the <br />placement or use of other equipment and/or temporary structures; or staging <br />vehicles on the plaza per Section 56 in the Administrative Guidelines. <br />9,E "Legacy Events" means events that have been happening for more <br />than fifty years in Redwood City and are community -wide celebrations hosted <br />in Redwood City. Legacy Events include 4th of July activities and the <br />Hometown Holidays celebration. <br />SECTION 3: APPLICATION PROCESS <br />A. Applicants must complete the Courthouse Square Event Application and <br />provide the non-refundable application fee not less than six (6) months prior <br />to the proposed event date.^ppk-a+i.,n ^^. The application is considered a <br />request for permit only; submission does not mean that the event has been <br />approved. The Courthouse Square Event Application does not include a tent <br />Dermit. which is reauired by the Fire Deaartment if one will be erected. <br />supperting-tht^%t The application will be reviewed by the Courthouse <br />Square Event Team to determine the required conditions, the scope and <br />estimated cost of City support services, and required permits.
