8.113. - Page 55 of 72 <br />1 <br />O.C.If cancellation occurs, the Permittee will receive a full refund of the cleaning <br />and damage deposit, less any actual costs incurred by the City. <br />D€. City reserves the right to cancel any events at any time for any reason. <br />Tape <br />In order to avoid damage to Courthouse Square, a six (6) month clean removal <br />heavypaigter-�& taper heavy matting, or cable ramps is the only permissible <br />method to secure power cords or other fixtures to the Courthouse Square surface. <br />Other types of tape such as standard duct, -and masking or painters tape are not <br />allowed. <br />Temporary Structures <br />Temporary structures such as a podium, stage, tent polepeles with a concrete base, <br />table or any other structure shall not be dragged on the surface of the Square. The <br />Permittee is required to protect the surface from rust. <br />Waste Disposal and Clean -Up at Events <br />A. A clean-up and waste disposal plan must be provided as part of the <br />Courthouse Square Event Permit Application. <br />B. All trash, litter, equipment, signage, and other temporary fixtures related to <br />the event must be removed to restore Courthousethe Square to its original <br />condition. <br />C. All trash containers must be properly emptied throughout the event and at <br />the conclusion of the event. <br />GD. The Permittee will meet with City staff and the entity responsible for <br />the -maintenance, if different from the City, within three (3) days after the <br />proposed event in order to review the clean-up of Courthouset4e. Square and <br />to determine if additional clean-up measures are required._ <br />E. The Permittee will be required to pay the City to preschedule power washing <br />for events that include some or all of the following; food, drinks, dancing. <br />9-.F. The Permittee is required to pay a refile cleaning and damage <br />deposit for all costs incurred by the City to clean and/or restore the Square. <br />The Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department will collect and <br />maintain the depositdeposits. If the surface of Courthousethe Square and <br />surrounding sidewalks requires unanticipated power washing because of <br />stains resulting from the Permittee's activity, the City will coordinatee <br />Page 9 of 26 <br />247 <br />
