8.13. - Page 69 of 72 <br />G. Deep Fat Frying, Flambe, and Open Flame Cooking <br />1. Deep fat frying, flambe, and open flame cooking operations shall be located <br />outside of booths and no closer than eighteen (181 inches from any <br />combustible material. <br />2. Cooking areas shall not be accessible to the public. <br />3. Deep fat frying equipment shall have a temperature regulating device or other <br />method of regulating temperatures approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />4. Separation shall be maintained with a minimum of three (3) feet clearance <br />between deep fat frying and flambe or open flame cooking. <br />H. Fire Extinguishers <br />1. Each cooking booth shall be equipped with afire extinguisher with a minimum <br />rating of 2A: 10B:C. Booths with deep fat frying or flambe cooking shall be <br />equipped with an extinguisher rated for class " K" fires. <br />2. Cooking booths shall be equipped with visible and accessible fire <br />extinguishers mounted adjacent to the exit. <br />3. For vendor booths, the maximum travel distance to a fire extinguisher with a <br />minimum rating of 2A: 10B:C shall not exceed seventy-five (75) feet. <br />4. Each generator shall be provided with a fire extinguisher with a minimum <br />40B:C rating. The extinguisher shall be located near the generator and <br />accessible at all times. <br />5. All fire extinguishers shall be serviced and tagged annually by a State - <br />licensed contractor. <br />I. Tent / Membrane Structures Over Four Hundred (400) sqft. <br />1. Occupant load sign shall be posted at each exit identifying the maximum <br />number of people allowed as designated by the Fire Marshal. <br />2. Standby personnel will be essential, as deemed by the Fire Code Official, for <br />public safety in a tent or membrane structure used as a place of assembly or <br />any other use where people congregate. <br />3. Crowd managers or crowd manager supervisors shall be used at a ratio of <br />one crowd manager/supervisor for every two hundred and fifty (250) <br />occupants, as approved. <br />W.
