8.113. - Page 68 of 72 <br />3. A ten (10) foot wide separation shall be provided for every 200 lineal feet of <br />vendor booths. <br />4. LP -Gas (Liquefied Petroleum Gash <br />a. LP -gas containers shall be located outside; <br />b. Safety release valves shall be pointed away from the tent or membrane <br />structure; <br />c. Containers with a capacity of five hundred (500) gallons or less shall have <br />minimum separation between container and structure not less than ten <br />(10)feet; and <br />d. Containers with a capacity of more than five hundred (500) gallons shall <br />have minimum separation between container and structure not less than <br />twenty-five (25) feet. <br />5. Flammable and Combustible Liquids: <br />a. Flammable and combustible liauids shall be stored outside in approved <br />manner <br />not less than fifty (50) feet from tents or membrane structures; and <br />b. Refueling shall be performed in an approved location no less than twenty <br />(20) feet from tents or membrane structures. <br />E. Electrical Power <br />1. Generators shall be placed only in approved locations approved by the Police <br />Department, the Fire Department, or the Parks, Recreation and Community <br />Services Department. <br />2. Generators shall not be refueled during event hours. Extra fuel shall not be <br />stored during event hours. <br />3. Smoking and open flames shall be prohibited within twenty-five (251 feet of <br />refueling operations. <br />4. Extension cords shall be of a grounded type and approved designed for <br />exterior use. <br />F. Charcoal Cooking <br />1. Use only an electric starter or commercially sold lighter fluid. <br />2. Charcoal cooking and storage of lighter fluid is prohibited inside booths. <br />3. Charcoal cooking shall be located a minimum of ten (10) feet away from <br />booths, in areas away from public access and away from combustible <br />structures and parked vehicles. <br />4. Coals shall be disposed of in metal containers approved by the Fire Marshal. <br />Page 22 of 26 <br />260 <br />
