6.13. - Page 4 of 8 <br />AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br />(SSA Landscape Architects) <br />This Amendment No. 3 is entered into and effective as of the day of <br />, 2019, extending and amending the Agreement dated April <br />13, 2016, by and between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City"), and SSA Landscape Architects, a <br />corporation of the State of California ("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties") for <br />Magical Bridge Playground. <br />RFrITAI R <br />A. On April 13, 2016, the Parties executed an Agreement for Professional <br />Services of a landscape architectural firm for Red Morton Park Westside Renovation <br />Project ("Original Agreement"); and <br />B. On August 28, 2017, the Parties executed Amendment No. 1, Consultant <br />began performing expanded professional services for the Magical Bridge Playground <br />design ("Amendment No. 1"); and <br />C. On March 14, 2018, the Parties executed Amendment No. 2, Consultant <br />extended the Agreement and expanded professional services for the Magical Bridge <br />Playground design ("Amendment No. 2"; the Original Agreement, Amendment No. 1 and <br />Amendment No. 2 are hereinafter referred to collectively as the "Agreement"); and <br />D. The Parties have negotiated and agreed to amendments attached to and <br />incorporated in by reference as Exhibit "A," Scope of Services and Fee. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br />contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br />1. In addition to those services contained in the Agreement, as may have <br />been amended from time to time, Consultant will provide those services described in <br />Exhibit "A." With this Amendment, the total Agreement amount shall not exceed One <br />Million One Hundred Three Thousand Eight Hundred and Seven Dollars <br />($1,103,807.00). <br />2. City will pay Consultant for all work associated with those services <br />described in Exhibit "A" on a time and materials basis not -to -exceed Two Hundred <br />Thirty -Five Thousand Five Hundred and Twenty -Four Dollars ($235,524.00), for an <br />aggregate amount of One Million One Hundred Three Thousand Eight Hundred and <br />Seven Dollars ($1,103,807.00).
