Vehicle Access <br />A. No vehicles are allowed within Courthouse Square without prior written approval <br />from the City. <br />B. Permittee shall remove any tire marks or residue resulting from vehicle use. <br />C. The City does not provide parking for events. Paid and free parking is available <br />throughout the City's parking garages, surface lots and on -street parking. <br />Delivery/Loading <br />Deliveries must be carried or hand -trucked to Courthouse Square. <br />On Street "No Parking" Signs <br />A. If "No Parking" signs for on -street City parking spaces are requested, the Permittee <br />must obtain signs from the Parks, Recreation and Community Services <br />Department. <br />B. The regulations for the posting of "No Parking" signs are as follows: <br />1. The Permittee shall post "No Parking" signs to reserve on -street parking <br />spaces for loading or staging of event related vehicles. Signs shall be <br />evenly distributed down each street and secured to a visible mounting <br />surface, such as light posts, parking meters, or standalone A -frame sign <br />holders. The "No Parking" signs must be purchased at the Permittee's <br />expense from the Parks and Recreation, Community Services <br />Department. <br />2. "No Parking" signs must be posted seventy-two (72) hours in advance <br />of the parking closure and the signs must state the date and time "No <br />Parking" is to be enforced. <br />3. The movement or posting of "No Parking" signs not previously <br />scheduled and approved due to weather conditions, location problems, <br />or matters out of the Permittee's control, may not be done without the <br />approval of the Police Department. <br />4. Illegally parked vehicles (in violation of temporary "No Parking" signs) <br />may be cited if the posting is confirmed to be in compliance with the <br />Police Department guidelines. All efforts to locate owners will be made <br />to avoid towing the vehicle, with the exception of an extreme situation <br />and only then at the direction of the Police Department. <br />5.
