-- -' 8/23/99 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 13704 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL CONSULTING <br /> SERVICES FOR TRAFFIC STUDY/ENVIRONMENTAL ANALYSIS <br /> OF 2300 MIDDLEFIELD ROAD <br /> <br /> (DKS ASSOCIATES) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City requires a traffic study and <br /> environmental analysis in order to understand the traffic impact of a proposed <br /> development of a 12 vehicle fueling position gas station in the parking lot of the <br /> existing Costco Warehouse store on an 11.16 acre site located at 2300 <br /> Middlefield Road in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, preparation of a traffic study <br />and environmental analysis is required pursuant to the California Environmental <br />Quality Act ("CEQA"; Pub. Res. Code §2100 et seq.), the State Guidelines <br />implementive thereof ("State CEQA Guidelines"; 14 CCR §15000, et seq.) and <br />the City's Regulations implementive thereof; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to City's Regulations, the City of Redwood City has <br />determined that the traffic study which is part of said environmental studies and <br />documentation shall be prepared pursuant to contract entered into with <br />Consultant subject to funding therefore Costco Wholesale (the "Developer"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Developer has deposited with the City of Redwood City <br />the estimated fees and costs to be incurred pursuant to said agreement; and <br /> <br />Reso-714 1 <br />F:~shared\redwood\council <br />FXS:djk <br />07/15/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
