Code, 1997 Edition'; and 'The National Electrical Code, 1996 Edition,' and the <br /> 'Uniform Code for Building Conservation, 1997 Edition,' (the "Ordinance")" it is <br /> hereby expressly found and determined that modifications, deletions, and <br /> additions made to the aforesaid Code as set forth in the Ordinance are <br /> reasonably necessary to provide for a system of protection and that <br /> modifications or changes are reasonably necessary because of local climatic, <br /> geologic or topographic conditions as fully set forth in the Finding of Facts filed <br /> herewith. <br /> <br /> 2. The aforesaid local amendment is enacted pursuant to the authority of <br />Section 17985.5 of the California Health and Safety Code, for the purposes of <br />addressing and meeting certain "local conditions" unique and peculiar to the City <br />of Redwood City, which are more specifically described in the Finding of Facts <br />filed herewith. <br /> <br /> 3.
