(l\1IG), is pleased to submit this proposal for MIG to organize and <br />conduct a fourth series of educational forums on urban design issues ("The Forum at Redwood <br />City: A Continuing Conversation on City Design") for the City of Redwood City. This letter of <br />engagement serves as an addendum to our previous contracts for the Forum seasons 1,2 and 3. <br />I <br />Listed below is a description of the tasks and associated fee for the production of eight additional <br />Forums (planned for October 2006 through May 2007). As before, Kristen Pickus will serve as <br />Project Manager for this project and will be assisted by associate Holly Kuljian and additional MIG <br />staff as needed. <br /> <br />City of Redwood City <br />The Forum at Redwood City 2006-2007 <br />MIG Letter of EngagenJent <br /> <br />TASK: <br /> <br />THE FORUM AT REDWOOD CITY: FOURTH SEASON <br />(SERIES OF 8 ADDITIONAL EVENTS) <br /> <br />Working with City staff, MIG will develop, plan and staff a series of eight additional educational <br />forums, building on the previous sessions held during the first three seasons. Project Manager <br />Kristen Pickus will use her contacts from when she worked for Communities By Design to <br />coordinate and secure top-name speakers in the field of urban design to speak at The Forum at <br />Redwood City. Two MIG staff members will be available on-site at the forums to facilitate, handle <br />registration, take notes and help ensure that the events run smoothly. Tasks listed below will be <br />repeated for each of the eight sessions of the Forum. <br /> <br />MIG responsibilities: <br />· Coordinate by telephone, fax and electronic mail with City staff to coordinate project <br />activities and progress, plan and prepare for next steps in the process, and anticipate and <br />resolve any issues that may arise; <br /> <br />PLANNING.
